Brandee has lived in Valley Township since 2004 and in Allegan her entire life. Brandee has been married to her husband, Chris, since 2004 and has two children. Brandee enjoys spending time with family and friends and running to and from her kids' sporting events.

Over the years, Brandee has served on various boards throughout the community including the Children's Museum, the Allegan Tigershark Aquatic Club, the Education Foundation (current member), the Valley Township Planning Commission (current member), and now the Valley Township Executive Board.
